Drawing on contemplative science, energy healing and multidimensional models of the mind, Keith explains how awakening, shadow work and subtle perception can change the way we understand ourselves. He shares his early spiritual search, from working as a music producer in Brooklyn to becoming a full-time practitioner. He also describes how an intense period of meditation, breathwork, movement and bodywork led to powerful kundalini-like awakenings and a lasting ability to perceive the aura. Keith explains that thoughts and emotions can appear as real structures in the energy field, that the aura can hold the story of a person’s life, and that he sees this as a working model rather than a fixed belief system.
Keith presents a three-level map of the physical, astral and causal dimensions. In this model, the human energy field is a multidimensional electromagnetic structure that includes the chakras, the central channel and tube-torus dynamics. He and Rick discuss granthis, or energetic knots, as well as coherence and the way deeper openings in the field can increase vitality while also bringing up intense emotional material for purification.
Keith describes this stage as a period of “hyper-feeling,” which required a year or more of deep shadow work as unconscious material rose to the surface for integration. The conversation then expands into broader questions about paradigm shifts in science, the limits of materialism and Keith’s belief that the 21st century may be remembered for bringing contemplative wisdom together with leading-edge neuroscience and physics.
Drawing on research such as the Blue Brain Project and non-local models of mind, Keith suggests that the brain may function more like an interface or antenna than the source of consciousness itself. He also proposes that memory and karma can be understood as patterns held in subtler fields, rather than only as processes stored in neurons.
Rick and Keith also explore loneliness, social media and the growing pressure on the collective nervous system. Keith contrasts fragmentation with the possibility of greater coherence. Using examples from lasers, superfluidity and the law of polarity, he argues that a relatively small number of coherent individuals can have a powerful harmonising effect on the wider whole. They also discuss the role dedicated practitioners may play in collective awakening.
Throughout the conversation, Keith emphasises humility, experimentation and direct experience over authority or dogma. He presents Field Dynamics as a quasi-scientific, experiential school for learning to sense, interpret and work with the aura as a tool for teaching and healing. The discussion ends with practical reflections on embodiment, balancing absolute and relative perspectives — “I am nothing, I am everything” — honouring personality without turning it into a fixed ego, and using our unique “instrument” in service of a more coherent and compassionate world.
