Dr. Jane Goodall, DBE, was a world-renowned ethologist, conservationist, and humanitarian. She is best known for her groundbreaking 65-year study of wild chimpanzees in Gombe, Tanzania. In her later years, Dr. Goodall became a global advocate for human rights, animal welfare, and environmental protection. She was passionate about empowering young people to engage in conservation and humanitarian efforts, and she led numerous educational initiatives focused on chimpanzees. Dr. Goodall’s work was guided by her fascination with evolution and her unwavering respect for all forms of life on Earth.
